LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOTAMS) is one of the most dynamically developing Polish companies in the specialized MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) market, providing technical support for narrow- and wide-body aircraft.
LOTAMS has operated as an independent entity since 2010, following the separation of the technical base from LOT Polish Airlines. However, its more than a decade of independent operation is backed by nearly a century of experience passed down through generations of aircraft mechanics and engineers. This extensive experience, supported by cutting-edge technologies and solutions, combined with the commitment of the management team, strengthens LOTAMS’ position as a global provider of top-quality services. Our motto: "We look after every detail."
Future
LOTAMS employs over 1,900 people, the majority of whom work in technical roles. The increasing number of clients and aircraft serviced, along with market trends, has created growing demand for highly qualified technical staff. Forecasts indicate continued growth in air travel and aircraft production, which in turn will drive demand for specialized technical maintenance services.
In response, LOTAMS has taken action to improve the quality of education in aviation technical schools by becoming a patron of the Aircraft Mechanic Technician program and supporting educational institutions at every stage as they incorporate this field into their curricula. LOTAMS is a leader in the growing Polish aviation market, building an attractive platform that bridges business and education. In April 2018, the company joined the innovative “Personnel for Entrepreneurship” program launched by the Industrial Development Agency.
Aircraft manufacturer Boeing forecasts that by 2036, the global aviation industry will require as many as 548,000 new engineers and aviation technicians, including 96,600 in Europe alone. The development of air transport is inevitable and rapidly evolving, making certified aircraft mechanics especially sought after in the years to come.
