
LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOTAMS) is a part of the Polish Aviation Group. The company deliver a full range of technical support at the level of base and line maintenance as well as aesthetics and workshop support. The mission of LOTAMS is to offer services of the highest quality by performing technical inspections in accordance with the best standards to ensure the reliability of flight operations and passenger safety.
LOTAMS operates as an independent entity since 2010, conducting almost 100-year-long tradition of functioning as the technical base of LOT Polish Airlines. These dozen or so years of independent operation are backed up by almost a century of experience passed down from generation to generation by aircraft mechanics and engineers. Simultaneously, our organization consistently strives for excellence, seeks the most cutting-edge solutions, and implements them to provide services of the highest level. As a result, not least because of the enormous commitment of the management team, the LOTAMS brand is consolidating itself as a global provider of top-quality services.
Our objective is not only to provide comprehensive machine service, but also to continuously enhance processes and technologies to adapt to the dynamic changes in the aviation industry. We aim to establish ourselves as a trustworthy partner who can be relied upon to provide comprehensive fleet care and guarantee the operational efficacy of our customers. That is why our motto is “We look after every detail”.
Vietnam, Turkey, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, France, Iceland, or Singapore – these are just some countries from which airlines serviced by LOTAMS originate. Of course, the largest share in the services provided by our company are the planes of our national carrier, LOT Polish Airlines. Nonetheless, we are very proud of the fact that more and more new customers from outside the Polish Aviation Group appear in our hangars.
We are the only Central and Eastern European Embraer Authorised Service Centre and one of just two centres in the Europe.
Furthermore, LOTAMS is the only company in Poland that is a certified design organization, in accordance with the PART-21J certificate, which according to EASA standards can design and certify modifications and repairs of all types and models of aircraft with a maximum take-off mass over 5700 kg in terms of graphic design and interior furnishings for passenger cabins.
LOTAMS employs over 1,900 specialists who are able to provide permanent, uninterrupted service on six to ten service lines simultaneously together with appropriate support for line maintenance and extensive workshop facilities (e.g. non-destructive testing, composites workshop, electrical systems and avionics).
Implementing to the needs of the aviation market, services are possible thanks to specialized internal training, which gives the possessed PART-147 certificate. In addition, LOTAMS employees also take part in training sessions organized by aircraft manufacturers, thanks to which our company is ready to service the most modern aircraft in the world.
Airbus predicts that in the years 2022-2041, the total number of new jobs in the aviation industry will reach over 2 million, including 120,000 for aviation engineers and technicians in Europe. The development of air transport is inevitable and dynamic, which is why employees with the title of aircraft mechanic will be particularly useful.
With this in mind, LOTAMS carries out activities to improve the quality of teaching in technical aviation schools. We provide active support to educational institutions by providing patronage to fields related to our activities, thereby equipping graduates to excel in the labour market
LOTAMS have been operating since the 1930s in the MRO (Maintennce, Repair and Overhaul) industry.
We provide complex maintenance services for 35 types of airliners and cargo aircraft (Embraer 170/175/190/195, Boeing 767, Boeing 737 CL/NG/MAX, Boeing 777, Boeing 787-8,-9 Dreamliner, ATR 42/72, Bombardier DHC400, Airbus Family)

We have 8 technical bases in Poland, with the main headquarters at Warsaw Chopin Airport and an international base at Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport in Hungary.
In 2023 alone, up to 102 aircraft were serviced by our heavy maintenance engineers. We spent 440,600 man-hours on light maintenance service, and we gave 25 aircraft new colours
The LOTAMS infrastructure consists of four fully equipped hangars and ten servicing stands covering a total area of 30,000 square metres.
We employ over 1,900 well-qualified employees, including aircraft mechanics, engineers and planners.
LOTAMS is the sole Authorised Embraer Service Centre in Central and Eastern Europe and one of only two in the entire Europe.
